Our guests will offer information regarding a brunch hosted by the State Of Arizona on Feb. 14. In honor of the centennial of our Statehood, all centenarians are invited to attend with one guest. Pat McMahon is the emcee and there will be entertainment of music through the eras since statehood as well as welcome from Gov. Jan Brewer and Sandra Day O'Connor among others.
Brownie Scouts will be on hand with details of the annual Girl Scout Cookie sale. If you missed them during their door-to-door drive you will learn where, and for how long, cookies will be available at locations around the Valley.
Representatives of Community Bridges, a private non-profit organization that provides help for substance abuse and mental health treatment, lifesaving interventions, support for women and children, and the homeless will advise listeners on the dangers of common household products that are becoming a substance abuse problem for teens.
