U-Haul Offering Help to AZ Flood Victims

U-Haul is offering Arizona residents affected by recent flooding 30 days of free storage and U-Box Pods.

"The heavy rains of this year's monsoon season have caused tremendous amounts of damage throughout many northern and northwestern Arizona communities," said Jason Turcotte, president, U-Haul Company of Western Arizona, in a news release. "I hope this effort will help provide assistance to families throughout our state who need support. We will do our best to help our friends and neighbors in this time of need."

The company is also encouraging residents to take advantage of its Take a Box, Leave a Box program. It's exactly what it sounds likes. Rather than recycling perfectly good boxes, people can leave them at various U-Haul centers for others to use as needed -- for free.

Families needing more information about the 30-days-free self-storage assistance program should contact the following U-Haul centers.
