A distraught grandmother is asking the Phoenix community for their help finding her autistic grandson's beloved dog, Dakota. The Yellow Lab mix went missing on February 12, 2012 and has not been seen since by the owners. The three year old grandchild, and Dakota's best friend, has not been doing well since she went missing and we're urging the community to reach out if they have any info on the whereabouts of Dakota.
Dakota is a Yellow Lab mix around 4 years old, micro-chipped but not wearing her collar, and has a very distinct "stub-like" tail (usually Labs have long tails). I have included an image below and if you are able to share this on any of your upcoming newscasts, social media outlets or website, I would appreciate it greatly!
