2012 Rev Rally: Metro Run
A one-day Charity Rally hosted by the Driving Hope Foundation
On Saturday, April 14th, 2012, the Rev Rally and Octane Raceway will host the Phoenix Metro Run. Starting at Octane Raceway located at 317 South 48th Street Phoenix, Arizona 85034, entrants will jump into their cars and tackle our secret checkpoints and citywide scavenger hunt. The Rally will begin at noon with cars leaving every 30 seconds from the parking lot. At the finish line (roughly around 5:00pm) contestants will enjoy an award banquet buffet dinner celebrating various prizes. Prizes and trophies are given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and scavenger hunt winners. Also, a trophy is given for the team with the most rally spirit, one for the winner of the Facebook & Twitter challenge, and even one for the ugliest car. Entry is only $48 per person on each team (after promo code BURNOUT); which includes the day’s event, a vinyl graphics package, and dinner.
The purpose of this event is to use the car community to raise funds for charities making a difference. By creating a fun and creative public event, Rev Rally and the Driving Hope Foundation seek to create lifetime bonds with new and old friends during the tour. Proceeds from the event will benefit local charities associated with the Driving Hope Foundation such as the Humane Society and North American Conservation.
