This week was the 42nd Aniversary of Led Zeppelin's first ever Valley Concert

It was April 18, 1970 when Led Zeppelin first played the Valley.  Some folks might remember they came to Tempe in 1977, playing the old arena on the ASU campus.  According to legend, Robert Plant collapsed from exhaustion after the first Phoenix show, forcing the band to cancel the following night's concert in Las Vegas.
