MULTPLE CHARGES, RIVER OAKS DRIVE: Two men were arrested just after 2 a.m. Oct. 6 at an apartment complex on River Oaks Drive. One man was stabbed during a fight over an AC/DC CD, according to police. Dana Petty, the man who was stabbed, was found kicking a glass door in an attempt to break in to an apartment. He was taken into custody but fought with officers, threatening to kill them and their families as well as to rape an officer’s mother, reports said. Petty also threatened to kill the officer with a gun, then spat in his face before he was taken to a hospital for treatment. Petty was charged with two counts of assault, criminal damaging, resisted arrest, disorderly conduct while intoxicated, assault on a police officer and menacing a police officer. The man who stabbed Petty, identified as Dale Weber, was arrested after he was seen leaving the building carrying a knife. Weber was charged with felonious assault and disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
