Jimi Hendrix's brother made history last Tuesday (01May12) by leading fans of the icon through a rendition of Hey Joe in the world's largest ever guitar ensemble.
Thousands of followers gathered at the Thanks Jimi Festival in Poland on May Day to celebrate the guitar great's legacy and the event will go down in history after 7,273 people showed up at Wroclaw's Main Market Square with their instruments in hand to play the popular tune.
Video footage of the collaboration was captured by BlabberMouth.net and singer/songwriter Leon Hendrix, 64, and event founder Leszek Cichonski can be seen on stage pumping up the revellers during the ninth annual ceremony.
