I think half the appeal of this song back in the day was the fact that we got to say "Butthole Surfers" on the air. It really was basically a re-telling of the Nails' "88 Lines about 44 Women"...which in turn was a re-telling of The Jim Caroll Band's "People Who Died." Some formulas never get old.
