So...I was watching that "Metal: Evolution" documentarythe other night. They were doing a segment on Rainbow, and I started to think about all the great players that went through the Deep Purple family tree. It dawned on me that DP have had every bit the talent playing in their band at once time, or another that *any* legendaryRock band has ever seen. One of the guys that gets overlooked the most, is Tommy Bolin. He's sort of the Randy Rhoads of the 70's. A guy who had it all in front of him, but left us way too soon. So...I figured this was a good song to remind us of how good he was. Today's "Zia Records Second Helping" is "Wild Dogs." Enjoy!
