I don't think it's any secret that the guitar is the coolest instrument in the history of ever! There's something about the sound that just oozes cool. I've been trying to play since 1979. I...am not good. And along the way, I'm reminded of just how "not good" I truly am. I've heard Jimi, Jimmy, Eddie, Randy, Yngwie, Vai, Satch and everyone in between.Often overlooked as an amazing guitarist is one Eric Johson. I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's because he doesn't have an image that people gravitated toward. He's just...brilliant. And that should be enough. Everyone knows the hit "Cliffs of Dover" off "Ah Via Musicom." There are a bunch of other great tracks on that CD...including this one.
