Wow…tough to think about football with that story out of Kansas City. How does a guy who seemingly has it all, snap like that? I’m sure they’re going to be looking at whether head injury played in to the guy’s mental instability. Sad story all around.
However…life goes on. And there *will* be football in KC today. I’ll get to that game. Here’s where we are overall:
Seahawks at Bears - The Bears are frustrating. One week, they look like world-beaters. The next, they get their QB killed. Every time I pick against Seattle, they win. Every streak comes to an end. This week, I believe in the Bears.
Texans at Titans – People still questioning whether the Texans are the best team in the AFC. They don’t have to be this week.
Patriots at Dolphins – Watching NE putting up points at will is reason enough to pick ‘em.
Jaguars at Bills - Again…one of those wins that gives Buffalo fans, false hope for 2013. They’re not good. They’re “meh.” But, “meh” is better than Jacksonville.
Colts at Lions – Given how bad the Lions have historically been, having a decent year is still an improvement. I honestly believe their coach is a goof. And, someone better can take them over the top.
Panthers at Chiefs – How they’re expected to play football in KC today is beyond me. I don’t think they should’ve postponed the game. But, this is certainly a game where the team can be forgiven for losing.
Vikings at Packers – The Vikes are simply another mediocre NFL team in a league full of them.
49ers at Rams - The Rams could pull off the upset. But, I believe SF is the best team in the league right now. And the kid…is having a moment.
Cardinals at Jets – That’s how bad it’s become in Jersey. I believe the Cards can win this.
Buccaneers at Broncos – weird late-season upset. I just feel it.
Steelers at Ravens – Baltimore needs to make sure nobody gets hurt. The Steelers have nothing to lose.
Bengals at Chargers – I cannot believe Norv Turner is still employed.
Browns at Raiders – I’m actually glad they’re losing. I do not like Dennis Allen. I think he’s a terrible leader. And clearly overrated as a defensive coach. This is a prime example of “name-drop-guy-who-fails” Pack your bags D…you’re done.
Eagles at Cowboys – Because Philly is terrible. Someone has to win. Might as well be Dallas.
Giants at Redskins – RGIII is but one man against a great NY D-line.
There ya go! Thanks for listening!
