I know I know…I’m getting them up late this week. I honestly think it’s because the NFL season is the perfect length. This is the point where there’s almost clear separation between the good & the bad. And we are all busy doing end-of-the-year stuff and take our eye off the ball.
…or, I might just be slacking. Who knows? Either way, the Tebow phenomenon continues, but will run into a big bump this week. Let’s get to it.
For the record, I had Atlanta and Dallas…I’m sure nobody is surprised by those games.
Carolina at Houston – Houston locks up a playoff bid & has nothing to play for, except keeping guys healthy. Take Carolina.
Washington at NY Giants – Washington always gives the Giants a tough time. I don’t think they’re as good as they show. But, they’re @ home. Take NY
Miami at Buffalo – Who cares? This game means nothing. But, might be one of the weekend’s best. Taking the Bills @ home.
Seattle at Chicago – Chicago might be done. Taking the Seachickens in an upset.
New Orleans at Minnesota – Saints. And let’s all finally admit that AP is the Eddie George of the NFC. Minnesota will *never* be a real winner.
Cincinnati at St. Louis – Rams are probably going to put Bradford on IR. Bungles win this easily.
Tennessee at Indianapolis – Duh. Titans all day. And the “trade Manning” talk is stupid. He will NEVER PLAY AGAIN!!!
Green Bay at Kansas City – Nobody can beat Green Bay.
Detroit at Oakland – Sorry Nation…I think my boys are done for the year. They *must* win this one to try to keep Denver from taking the West. I don’t think they pull it off. I want to be wrong. I hope I’m wrong. I don’t think I’m wrong.
New England at Denver –Hello Mr. Tebow. Welcome to the NFL…where you *must* be able to score a lot of points to beat teams like New England. The Pats *do* fade late. I’d love to see the upset…just for the story. I love what Tim’s doing. But, they’re just not good enough to beat NE.
NY Jets at Philadelphia – This is another awesome game. The Jets *have* to have it. It’s in Philly. Those cities hate each other. Watch the Iggles frustrate NY.
Cleveland at Arizona – I cannot pick the Cardinals. I think they can win it @ home. But, based upon a promise, I take the Browns.
Baltimore at San Diego – This will be a good game. I think the Ravens defense is picture perfect to show how overrated Rivers is. Lots of INTs for Philip today. Baltimore hits hard…taking them.
Pittsburgh at San Francisco – Neither team wants to get anyone hurt. But Harbaugh wants to be able to beat an elite AFC team to send the message that his team is for real. I don’t think they’re experienced enough and take the Steelers.
And so it is written…
