Anyone who's listened to me over the years already knows this. I don't talk about it very often here...but years ago, Zakk Wylde presented me with a set of Black Label Society Colors. It is one of my favorite keepsakes from my career. Zakk & I have been friends for a long time (there are several silly audio examples of our shared stupidity at my personal website), and it's great to see him get healthy. I missed out on seeing him get roasted 2 weeks ago at NAMM. But, I'm told he took it like the gay man that he is. I also just got word that he's doing a show in LA that will feature music fom his entire career. Which (I think) is awesome. He put out a great solo CD called "Book Of Shadows" years ago before setting up BLS. But AFTER he did this sorta "Southern Rock" project that originally went by the name "Lynyrd Skynhead." They changed the name for obvious reasons. But, this show he's doing is apparently going to include some of the stuff that appeared on the Pride & Glory CD he did with James Lomenzo & Greg D'Angelo from White Lion. So..by extension, I believe this meets the definition of a "Hairball" track. Check out how young the boy was.
