What can I say? I got a chance to see my all-time favorite band. In a tiny room. With only 200 people. It was in essence a club gig. Van Halen took over Henson Studios in LA for a secret show. We weren't allowed to tell anyone why we were there, or what was going on. We just showed up and hung out. The place was full of celebrities and close friends of the band. I am neither. I was just lucky to get the call from their record company with one of the few invites available. There was no way I was going to miss it. Of course, I spent most of the night taking pictures and video. Here's some evidence...The sound is going to be pretty muddy and distorted. But...it wasn't about that. Van Halen are BACK! And all is right in the world...musically.
