As I was looking for this video, it dawned upon me that Firehouse were sort of a Bon Jovi clone. When you hear stories of why the Hair Bands went the way of the Walkman, keep this in mind; It had nothing to do with Grunge. It was all about the unoriginal retreads. I don't mean to imply Firehouse is one. But, if you think all the bands today sound the same, understand that this is not a new concept. Since the first band caught on with the masses, cloning their style and success became the mission. Lots of bands (and record companies) made millions doing it.
And the chicks....were a nice ancillary benefit.
