Hard to believe this one...It's been thirty years since we lost Randy Rhoads. I can't imagine what he'd be doing today were he still alive. I know he wouldn't be with Ozzy. Randy was planning to leave Ozzy's band at the conclusion of the Diary Of A Madman tour. It's very likely that Randy would be where Ritchie Blackmore is today...Playing music with a much more classical lean. So many guitarists go through a period away from Rock once they've made their mark. EVH did it with "Star Fleet." Jimi went more jazz before he left us. Gary Moore went completely into the blues. Randy was on his way somewhere else. But, he never made it, and we'll never know what could have been. So, on this 30th Anniversary of his passing, I found some old video for the song I'm rolling on air. Here's Ozzy & Randy...
