The Psychedelic Furs were born out of the late ‘70s British post-punk scene. The group rose to international fame when film director John Hughes used the title of their song, “Pretty in Pink” for a movie with the same name. “Heartbreak Beat,” “Dumb Waiters” and “Love My Way” showcase the sound that many claim bridged the gap between punk, alternative rock and grunge.
