Everyone who was at the Cafe Wha? Van Halen show last night (1/5/12) has been reporting on the web that they played a "New" song called "She's the Woman" Well, I havent heard any audio from the show, so I havent heard the song they played that night by that name, but I do know that back in the 70's VH recorded some demos with Gene Simmons from Kiss producing, and one of the songs they recorded was called "She's the Woman". This song has never been released on an album, but collectors such as myself have copies of the Simmons demos, and the song was posted on You Tube years ago! I've attached a link to the song on You Tube (below) Great song, but hardly a "New" VH Song! Notice that the solo was eventually used as part of the solo in the Fair Warning song "Mean Streets". Is the song from the Cafe Wha? show the same as the 70's demo? Did anyone in Van Halen even SAY that "Shes the Woman" was a new song from the new album ( Titled "A different kind of truth" according to Dave) or is everyone just Assuming it is? Sammy Hagar said that the new VH album was just a bunch of old 70's demos that they just re-recorded, thought that was just sour grapes........... check out the video for the 1970's demo "Shes the Woman"
