Phoenix Police say they're looking for a suspect who stole a custom wheelchair used by a paraplegic from a home near Glendale and 39th Avenues.
Darlene Lovitt cares for her sister, Marlene, who is a paraplegic from a brain injury who uses a custom wheelchair to get around.
Lovitt says she had cleaned her sister's wheelchair and left it out in the car port to dry on Feb. 26.
An hour later when she went to get the chair, it was gone.
Marlene Lovitt has been primarily confined to her bed because she isn't able to move around without her wheelchair.
