Over 15 Million Pounds of dirt is being dumped on Chase Field for this weekends AMA Supercross event. That’s the weight equivalent of over 110 M1 Abram Tanks.
It takes some work to prepare the grounds. First the field is covered with 3,800 pieces of plywood and plastic then over 500 truckloads of dirt are brought in for the show.
I’ve been to a ton of these and they are always a good time. There will be over 40 riders this weekend racing at speeds over 60 mph and jumping as high as 70 feet in the air. Monster air!
