T-Mobile and Father's Day

Earlier today I was at T-Mobile - Village Square in Phoenix. Thanks to everyone that came out to say hi. It was nice meeting everyone. Special thanks to Shelly for bringing me home-made spaghetti. You didn't have to do that, but it was delicious! I'll have some pictures from the event posted here soon.

Yes, T-Mobile paid me to visit, but I found something that my Dad is going to enjoy. With Father's Day next Sunday, I was thinking about getting him a GPS navigation system because he never stops and asks for directions; but now he's getting a new phone. I'm wrapping up a Nokia Lumina 710 Windows phone for his special day. He'll grumble at first because he hates technology, but after he discovers how easy this phone is to use he will thank me.

The Nokia representative David Chickering was at the store when I was there and showed me how easy this phone is to use. Dad can figure this phone out and it has navigation. I dig the Live Tiles and it also has Windows Office built in so you can edit Word and Excel documents. Facebook and Twitter are easy to access. The phone is packed with a lot of features but you don't have to be a geek to figure it out. Fast, responsive, and easy to use is how I'd describe it and that's why Dad is getting one from me for Father's Day instead of a GPS for the car.

Here's a video example of the Voice Activated search.

America’s first 4G Nokia Windows® Phone. Only at T-Mobile.
Navigate your life, not your phone. With voice-activated local search, People Hub, and the familiarity of Windows®, it’s never been easier to navigate your world your way – all at 4G speeds.

My father is a technological nincompoop and is one of those guys that nevers asks for directions. I finally found a phone that he can use Nokia-Lumia-710

Stop by any T-Mobile to check out the Nokia Lumia 710 for yourself or for dad. If you live near Village Square and need any cell phone help be sure to ask for Angel. He's been in the cellular busines for 10+ years and knows his stuff.
