New Years With Kids

My friend Dave is in Scottdale from California for a business trip and he brought his family. He was wondering if there is a place he could take his wife and three year old for New Year's Eve while visiting. Here are a couple of ideas if you have little ones this New Year's Eve.

The Valley's largest REAL ice rink will be in the middle of Central Avenue now-January 5th.

WHERE: CityScape Phoenix
(Between First Avenue and First Street and between Washington and Jefferson streets)
Ample and convenient underground parking

COST: The cost of admission for skating is $12 per person and includes skate rental.

INFO: Ice Rink Dates and Hours
Now through Jan 5
11:30am to 11pm every day!

$6 skating at Lunch & Skate every weekday from 11:30am-2pm (except New Year's Day).

Dave will appreciate this one because he can purchase beer, wine and hot chocolate from Chloe's Corner to enjoy in the park while watching the skaters.

More details here: www.cityscapephoenix.com

Proceeds from the rink will be donated to Valley charitable organizations for the ice rink’s 6-week run including Phoenix Suns Charities, United Methodist Outreach Ministries Phoenix (UMOM), The Breast Cancer Society, Xavier and Brophy College Preparatory, Arizona Science Center and Arizona Animal Welfare League.
