Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and guitarist Chris Shiflett have a side project called Chevy Metal. The spent some time at the Foos’ Studio 606 in Los Angeles recently and recorded a version of David Bowie’s Width of a Circle, from 1970′s The Man Who Sold the World. This appears to be the group’s first studio-recorded song.
