Look at the size of this egg. I feel sorry for the chicken that laid that one. In the video below you will not see the hen that pushed out this monster egg but you will see something interesting when it is cracked open.

So I guess the egg came before the chicken? Is that Russian got the idea for matryoshka dolls? So many questions unanswered.
There is one question I can answer for you. Is the chicken egg in the above video the largest in world? The answer is no. In China an employee of the Forestry Bureau of Suiling County, owns an ordinary hen which laid a 6.3 centimeters wide and 9.2 cm long egg, and weighed 201 grams, three times heavier than an ordinary egg-setting the world record for the Largest Chicken Egg.
