According to reports, Axl said the company could use 'Welcome To The Jungle' as long as former colleague Slash and his then-active band Velvet Revolver didn't appear in the game. When it was released Slash was the main image on the cover artwork, so Axl called his lawyers almost 3 years after the fact. The lawsuit was filed in 2010. (Why the delay?) A bunch of arguments were made and presented and last week the judge threw them all out.

So there is no money for Axl and probably more ill feelings towards Slash.

Kind of makes sense to have Slash on the cover considering the game is called Guitar Hero. If it was called Singer Hero then I could certainly understand Axl being tweaked out about not being on the cover.
